At the Technical University of Berlin, we offer two 24-months open-topic postdoc positions for international, female scientists working in the fields of hydrology or water engineering. The successful candidate has an excellent research record (minimum of 3 high-quality articles after PhD and approximately 2 articles per each following postdoc year) and brings her own research ideas. The envisaged research may focus on drought and flood analysis and associated catchment modelling or climate-adaptation of cities to droughts or floods. Research links to the global South or a focus on blue-green infrastructure are advantageous, but not necessary. We are accepting applications until 31.10.26 or until the positions are filled. One candidate can start in early 2027, the other in mid/end 2027. Scientists from Germany or worked at a German research institution before cannot apply. Completion of the candidate's doctorate should not be longer than 12 years ago. Information on the funding is available on the link below.
