Job Description Main mission of the role: Technical development of new products, design and monitoring of technical files. Management of cross-functional R&D projects; watch cases and movements. Task description: Management of cross-functional projects: - Watch cases - Mechanical and quartz movements - Data management system (PLM) Development of innovative concepts in partnership with our various Swatch Group entities Development of new products: cases, dials, hands and straps in collaboration with the different Longines departments and our external partners Creation and management of technical files throughout the product life cycle Technical support to the various Longines departments Profile You hold a HES engineering degree or equivalent. You have additional project management training and proven experience (5 to 10 years) in a similar position. Field experience in the industrialisation and/or manufacturing of watch components. Excellent command of volumetric and surface CAD as well as proficiency in "Catia" software is essential. Mastery of finite element simulation, Abaqus-Forge as well as Dassault Systèmes PLM 3DExperience is an asset. Good knowledge of strength of materials. Knowledge of SAP.
