Development Engineer Hardware (f/m/d)

Your Responsibilities

• Independent realisation of demanding developments from requirements analysis to system architecture and detailed design of electronics from prototype to series production
• Analogue and digital circuit development including power supply, circuit diagrams, layouts and selection of suitable components
• Commissioning of the hardware components, performance of measurements and documentation of the developments (e.g. specifications, descriptive documentation, production documents)
• Support and further development of COMPRION systems and assemblies
• Creation of test concepts including design, layout, construction and commissioning of production-specific test/measurement stations
• Transfer of products to production and master data maintenance in the merchandise management system
• Creation and maintenance of the technical documentation
• Assisting the support team in hardware-related/technical questions

Your Profile

• Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering/communications engineering/electronics, preferably with a focus on high-frequency technology
• Sound knowledge and several years of experience in analogue and digital circuit design (analogue amplifier technology, AD/DA converters 100 … 500MSPS, power supplies)
• Experience in using layout tools (preferably Pulsonix)
• Knowledge of simulation tools (e.g. LTSpice) and embedded programming (C/C++)
• Fundamental understanding of FPGA programming and digital modulation techniques is advantageous
• Independent, goal-oriented work
• Good knowledge of German and English
