Verantwortungsbereiche
- Install, configure, maintain, and optimize MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Oracle databases in an enterprise setting.
- Collaborate with development and cross-functional teams to meet complex database requirements and enforce security policies with proper access controls.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune database performance; develop backup and recovery strategies for data integrity and high availability.
- Plan and execute upgrades, migrations, and consolidations with minimal downtime and adherence to best practices.
- Mentor junior DBAs; maintain thorough technical documentation; communicate clearly with stakeholders to ensure alignment and continuous improvement.
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 5+ years hands-on experience with MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Oracle databases; proven performance analysis and administration across platforms.
- Degree in IT or equivalent qualification (preferably from a renowned university).
- Deep proficiency in T-SQL, PL/pgSQL, and PL/SQL; mastery of SSMS, pgAdmin, and Oracle SQL Developer.
- Knowledge of high availability solutions (Always On, Streaming Replication, Data Guard) and advanced backup/recovery technologies.
- Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and communication skills; strong initiative and reliability; ability to operate in an international environment with German and English fluency.
