Senior Project Manager / Transformation Lead

Project Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / Transformation Lead to establish and drive the initial transformation phase of the ISDS organisation. The successful candidate will take ownership of structuring the transformation programme, analysing the current state, defining the future target operating model, and preparing key strategic decisions for executive stakeholders.

This role focuses on transformation leadership and programme management rather than acting as a CISO, compliance specialist, or implementation lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a complex organisational transformation programme.
• Analyse the existing ISDS operating model, governance structure, processes, and tools.
• Define the future-state organisational and governance model.
• Develop decision papers and recommendations for executive management.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage programme planning, risks, dependencies, and communication.
• Ensure alignment between governance, organisation, processes, and tooling.
• Maintain business continuity throughout the transformation.
• Prepare a structured handover to the future internal project leadership team.
• Develop proposals for future roles, responsibilities, committees, processes, and operating models.

Mandatory Requirements

• Senior-level Project or Programme Manager.
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience leading projects and programmes.
• Strong background in organisational redesign and governance transformation.
• Experience building, consolidating, or transforming management systems.
• Proven experience with ISO 27001 and Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).
• Experience within regulated industries.
• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
• Ability to deliver within defined timelines and budgets.
• Highly structured and analytical working style.
• Hands-on approach with the ability to create tangible deliverables.
• German language skills are mandatory (minimum C1 level, spoken and written).
• Ability to facilitate workshops, create executive-level documentation, and manage stakeholders in German.
• English language skills are beneficial.
