We are looking for a Process engineer (m/f/d) - focus on process simulations in the field of thermal plants / power plant engineering / plant construction. Concord Blue Engineering GmbH is a growing, innovative and internationally active company that plans, builds and operates thermal conversion plants. In this process, biomasses as well as waste and residual materials are used to produce high-quality products, such as electricity, hydrogen or e-fuels.

Your field of activity and your tasks:

  • Your activities will mainly focus on project-related planning, delivery, installation and commissioning of new plants and replanning of existing plants.
  • You will develop a calculation model for balancing new and existing plants.
  • You balance entire plants as well as individual subsections.
  • You create process simulations, process flow diagrams and P&I flow diagrams.
  • You support all process engineering tasks in commercial plant construction projects.
  • You will perform technical execution from the various subcontractors throughout the life of the project, taking into account internal and external standards.
  • You will close the internal interfaces with the other disciplines such as mechanical engineering, steel construction, piping, E/MSR.

Your profile:

  • Successfully completed studies in process engineering, mechanical engineering, plant engineering or comparable courses of study.
  • Several years of experience in the use of Aspen Plus mandatory.
  • Experience in processing/handling plant engineering or power plant projects is an advantage.
  • Expertise in thermal conversion technologies (combustion, gasification, pyrolysis), hydrogen technologies (generation, storage, transport), and gas purification is a plus.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Confident handling of common EDP programs (MS-Office).
  • High motivation, decision-making ability and reliability.
  • You are a team player and bring a high level of commitment, resilience, flexibility and very good communication skills.
