Plant Operations Manager m/w/d (german speaker)

The chosen person will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of manufacturing plant (100 employees, one location in Germany) and setting and enforcing production standards and strategy with full P&L responsibility.

The role will report to the Senior Director for EMEA region.

For the role you needs to be located in Germany or ready to relocate to Nordrhein Westfalen region.

The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :

• Directing production, processing, and distribution of products while ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Developing processes to maximize stewardship, safety, quality, and productivity.
• Monitoring operational performance and making necessary adjustments for efficiency.
• Leading cross functional teams in strategic planning and execution of complex projects
• Preparing and managing budgets, investigating cost-saving measures, and ensuring expenses align with budget allowances
• Reviewing recommendations for special machinery and working with engineering teams
• Researching and implementing new manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Leading continuous improvement initiatives and change management within the plant

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in manufacturing or related fields, with at least 5 years in a production or operations manager role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, the ability to effectively delegate tasks, and manage a diverse team( including cross-functional teams and improving employee productivity)
• Experience with implementing and maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Proficiency in budgeting, cost optimization, financial reporting and expense control and analysis
• The ability to identify and solve problems, make sound decisions, and implement effective solutions.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, quality control procedures, and relevant software
• Fluency in German and English is a must
