Connect44 is seeking an German-speaking Senior Casemanager Permits to join our team in Dusseldorf on a permanent basis. This role involves managing the permitting process and adopts a hybrid model.

As a Senior Casemanager Permits, you will be responsible for managing the permitting process, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring the smooth approval of projects in compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks.

Main activities and tasks:

• Negotiate with project developers and partners to find feasible solutions
• Assist in developing tactical and operational policies, particularly in the legal and procedural areas, to ensure efficient licensing
• Advise and act as a sparring partner for the department head regarding the process and content of Permits, Supervision, and Enforcement tasks
• Identify bottlenecks in work processes and provide suggestions for improvements
• Participate in projects and working groups, both within and outside the department
• Lead internal and external teams working with municipalities and permits
• Assist in handling complaints when requested

Required Education & Trainings:

• Good understanding of the legal framework for telecommunications projects
• Experience in a similar position working with municipalities and/or other governmental bodies
• Required Experience:
• Ideally, experience working with public offices responsible for construction, traffic management, and environmental management
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Specific skills & technical knowledge:

• German native speaker
• Good understanding of the legal framework
• Technical understanding of telecommunications projects (fibre and mobile)
