As part of the legal team of Defence Digital you will be providing comprehensive legal expertise to the business and advise on complex regulatory frameworks, high-stakes defense procurement contracts, and national and international cooperation agreements and strategic partnerships.In your role you will be conducting worldwide transactions with customers, suppliers and partners from bid to project closure implying the following primary activities:Support the business in the preparation and submission of national and international bids in response to customer Requests for Proposals (RfP) by analyzing the respective terms and conditions, identifying legal risks and proposing mitigation actions/solutionsDraft and negotiate transaction documents (Teaming Agreements, Cooperation Agreements, Partnership Agreements, JV Agreements, Commercial Contracts etc.), with a specific focus on strategic partnerships with Start-Ups, in close cooperation and alignment with other relevant internal stakeholders (Strategy, Sales, Program, Antitrust, Compliance, Procurement)Represent the legal function in Bid Approval Committee meetingsProvide internal stakeholders with timely advice in different areas of law such as Commercial and Contract Law, IT Law, IP Law, German Public Procurement Law, EU Law and Digital Laws on European and national level, Corporate Law, Investment Law, Venture Captial Law, Investment Law, M&A Law, Arbitration LawSupport strategies in order to avoid litigations, and in case of litigations, manage the case in coordination with the litigation team including support of external law firmsPropose, draft and keep up-to-date our standard contract templatesProvide support to the management in the monitoring of subsidiariesContribute in developing and providing legal and compliance awareness of other departments such as Marketing, Sales, Commercial, ProcurementInstructing and managing relationship with external legal advisorsContribute to the evolution of the legal department to foster efficient and lean ways of working including constant dialogue and cooperation with other internal departmentsSupport contracts, claim and waiver management in order to ensure an efficient and profitable project executionSupport the evolution of Connected Intelligence in adopting digital business models (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS) including aspects of Digital Transformation, AI, Cloud, CyberImplement and promote the Airbus Ethics and Compliance policies and company valuesTogether with the other team members, you will contribute to the evolution of the legal organization of Connected Intelligence and Defence DigitalYou will provide support and training to the business and legal colleagues to share expertiseDesired skills and qualificationsYou hold an advanced Law degree in German Law (2. Juristisches Staatsexamen).You bring 8-10 years of professional legal experience within a multinational company or law firm, ideally in the defence and security sector.You demonstrate deep knowledge across commercial, corporate, public procurement, IT, Anti Trust, Data Protection, and digital laws.You possess strong contract drafting and negotiation skills with fluency in English and negotiation-level German (French or Spanish is an asset).
