We're looking for an experienced Data Centre Electrical Engineer to join a major data centre programme in Frankfurt.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale, mission-critical environment, providing technical expertise across electrical power systems, commissioning, and infrastructure delivery.
- What you'll be doing
- Oversee the installation, commissioning, and testing of UPS and LV electrical systems.
- Ensure electrical installations meet project specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Support the integration of critical power infrastructure within data centre environments.
- Work closely with project teams, contractors, vendors, and customers to resolve technical issues.
- Review electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and Auto CAD drawings.
- Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting support, and commissioning best practices.
- Support customer acceptance, commissioning, and handover activities.
What we're looking for
- Electrical certification (essential).
- Hands-on experience installing, commissioning, and testing
UPS, LV electrical systems, switchgear, power distribution, EV charging infrastructure, or similar critical power equipment .
- Experience working within data centres, mission-critical facilities, or industrial power environments .
- Strong understanding of power electronics and electrical distribution systems.
- Knowledge of data centre energy systems, including power distribution, cooling, and monitoring systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
- Auto CAD experience.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
