At Anderson MacGyver, we believe technology only creates real value when people can work with it effectively. We are a management consultancy that helps organizations navigate challenges at the intersection of business and technology, with a specialization in the vital sectors that keep our society running, from energy networks to healthcare and defense.
What will you do?
As a Technology Landscape Consultant, you help leading organizations understand, structure, and future‑proof their technology landscape. You work at the intersection of strategy, architecture, and execution – from designing target architectures to rationalising application landscapes and guiding organizations through concrete technology decisions.
You combine enterprise architecture expertise and technical depth with the ability to bring stakeholders, from CIO to Product Owner, on complex challenges. You don’t just create plans; you make sure change actually happens.
More specifically, you will
- Design target architectures and future‑proof technology landscapes
- Analyse and simplify complex application landscapes
- Advise on application rationalisation, application selection, and implementation
- Support technology and architecture challenges, including in a CTO‑as‑a‑Service capacity
- Engage with a wide range of stakeholders: CIOs, enterprise architects, management teams, and engineering teams
Every week offers a mix of client work, analysis, collaboration, and content preparation. On Fridays, we come together at the office to develop our practice further. We discuss current themes, such as the value of AI tools and the role of architects in a world of agentic AI, and use those conversations to develop our own concepts and ways of working.
What is required?
- A master’s degree or substantial work experience in Business Administration, Technology, or Data
- 3–6 years of experience with software, cloud technology, or architecture challenges and/or implementation programmes
- Knowledge of enterprise, application, or solution architecture
- Familiarity with modern IT landscapes and platform architectures
- Experience with Agile organisations and product‑oriented ways of working
- Strong analytical skills and effective communication with both technical and executive stakeholders
- Fluency in Dutch and English
- Experience with application landscape analysis, integration architecture, cloud and platform architecture, or technology selection is a plus
What will you get?
- A salary of €5,000 – €6,500 gross per month, depending on your knowledge and experience
- 27 days of annual leave, with the option to purchase additional days
- A team performance bonus
- A flexible mobility scheme, with options such as a company car or mobility allowance
- Challenging assignments at leading organisations in vital sectors
- A close‑knit team where you have a direct influence on the direction of the practice
- Plenty of room for personal and professional development
- Collaboration with experienced consultants and direct coaching from your practice lead
- An informal, content‑driven culture where authenticity is central
