ppOwn the certification path that brings industrial humanoid robotics to market. /p h3Your Role Responsibilities /h3 ul liOwn and drive the full regulatory and certification pathway required to place AEON on the European market and, over time, global markets /li liMap the complete regulatory landscape — product safety, functional safety, connectivity, cybersecurity, and AI regulation — and produce a clear, prioritized roadmap for commercial market access /li liBuild and maintain a robust product safety concept, including structured hazard analysis (FMEA or equivalent) and risk assessments aligned with the Machinery Directive, EU AI Act, and relevant functional safety standards /li liBuild and maintain audit-ready Technical Files covering risk assessments, declarations of conformity, test reports, and all required supporting documentation /li liManage all product approvals, certifications, and recertifications — CE marking, Machinery Directive, RED, EN 18031, and others as applicable /li liOwn relationships with notified bodies, testing laboratories, and regulatory authorities /li liDrive full project management of the certification programme — tracking actions, maintaining schedules, and resolving dependencies /li liCommunicate regulatory status clearly to engineering, operations, commercial, and leadership teams /li liIdentify and manage external partners; make informed build‑vs‑buy decisions on internal versus outsourced capability /li liHelp define and scale the compliance function as the company and product portfolio grow /li /ul h3bRequired Technical Professional Expertise /b /h3 ul liBachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field; additional qualification in regulatory affairs or functional safety is a strong plus /li liMinimum 5 years of experience in product certification, regulatory compliance, or functional safety in a hardware-intensive sector — industrial machinery, robotics, automotive, medical devices, or similar /li liProven track record of taking a complex hardware product through a full certification process in the European market, from initial gap analysis through to Declaration of Conformity /li liStrong working knowledge of CE marking, Machinery Directive, and at least one of: RED, IEC 62061 / ISO 13849, EU AI Act high-risk requirements, or EMC/EMV /li liHands‑on experience with hazard analysis and risk assessment methodologies — FMEA, HAZOP, or similar /li liExperience structuring and producing Technical Files to a standard that survives external audit /li liStrong project management discipline with the ability to define plans, track rigorously, and elevate early /li liClear communicator across both technical and non‑technical audiences /li liComfortable building processes from scratch in a fast‑moving, evolving environment /li liFluent English required; German or another European language is a meaningful plus /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
