As Senior Product Manager More (f/m/x), you will lead the development and execution of specific product line/category strategy to drive growth, brand awareness, and market share. You are accountable for product line/category P&L and target delivery by ensuring effective portfolio price pack architecture, promotion strategy, and innovation pipeline.
Your mission
- Develop and implement category strategies including market positioning, pricing, and innovation pipelines.
- Manage the P&L, setting and achieving financial targets for revenue, profitability, and market share.
- Monitor financial performance (sales, margins, expenses, forecasting accuracy, stock levels) and take corrective actions as needed.
- Analyze market trends and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities.
- Define and maintain pricing and promotion guidelines to drive growth and margins.
- Collaborate with product development to align new products with strategy and manage the product lifecycle.
- Coordinate go-to-market strategies, promotional campaigns, and monitor campaign performance.
- Drive successful product launches and explore partnerships to enhance brand visibility.
Location and Remote Work
Primary Work Location: Hamburg
Remote Setup: Possible with a requirement of two to three office days per week in our HQ in Hamburg.
Your experience & skills
- Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Multiple years of experience in product management within the FMCG industry.
- Proven track record of successfully developing category strategies, defining growth opportunities, developing innovations, and managing product portfolios from concept to launch to lifecycle management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing product category P&L (revenue and profitability).
- Strong understanding of portfolio analysis, market segmentation, and product positioning strategies.
- Experience in developing and executing activation plans, including defining go-to-market strategies, distribution, and pricing.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in market research, data analysis, and financial planning.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive results through cross-functional teamwork.
- Fluency in English and German is required.
