What You’ll Do
As a Site Manager, you’ll take ownership of assigned projects, guiding them from award to completion with precision and pride. You’ll be our valued customers‘ key point of contact, ensuring their satisfaction while delivering top-tier safety, quality, and efficiency. Your role will include:
- Project Leadership: Plan, schedule, and oversee all project phases—engineering, procurement, field installation, start-up, and closeout—ensuring timely completion within budget.
- Customer Partnership: Act as Convergint’s face to the client, translating their needs into actionable plans, presenting proposals, and fostering long-term relationships.
- Team Coordination: Lead on-site contractors, installers, and project teams while collaborating with sales, engineering, and leadership to exceed expectations.
- Risk & Financial Management: Identify risks, implement solutions, and monitor costs to keep projects on track, leveraging financial systems to deliver accurate reports.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively communicate updates, propose changes, and seek ways to enhance customer satisfaction and project outcomes.

What You Bring
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in engineering, field service, or supervision within a technical environment (e.g., building automation, fire alarm, electronic security, or AV systems); prior project supervisory experience is essential.
- Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical training.
- Skills:
- Proven project management expertise with strong analytical and financial acumen.
- Leadership and mentoring abilities to guide teams and foster collaboration.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to influence and build consensus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; basic IT networking knowledge is a plus.
- Certifications: Project Management Institute (PMI) certification or industry-specific credentials preferred.
- Requirements: Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
