To strengthen our Customer Support Logistics Team, we are looking for a Copacking Logistics Coordinator (f/m/d) to join our Mannheim office. This is a 12-month position to cover maternity leave.
Your Role
As Copacking Logistics Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth logistics operations und successful co-packing activities across the DACH region. You will collaborate closely with our third-party logistics providers (3PL), as well as internal teams including Planning, Quality Assurance, Marketing und Finance, to ensure products are delivered efficiently und processes continuously improve.
Your Responsibilities
- Logistics 3PL Management
- Manage the operational relationship with our third-party logistics providers (3PL)
- Ensure inventory accuracy through regular reconciliation und corrective actions
- Coordinate claims related to damaged goods, transport issues und inventory discrepancies
- Organize disposal of expired und damaged products
- Coordinate inbound activities und ensure timely QA release together with the Quality team
- Drive continuous improvements across warehouse und logistics processes
- Inventory Management
- Monitor inventory levels und support stock optimization initiatives
- Coordinate slow-moving inventory clearance und pallet consolidation
- Support inventory reporting und reconciliation activities
- Co-Packing Coordination
- Coordinate co-packing activities together with Planning, Marketing, QA und external partners
- Ensure demand planning is aligned with available co-packing capacity
- Create und maintain material master data, Bills of Material (BOMs) und purchase orders within the ERP system
- Coordinate packaging materials und finished goods required for co-packing
- Support serialization compliance und product release activities
- Operational Performance
- Monitor und improve logistics KPIs, including: Inventory Accuracy, Dock-to-Stock, On-Time Delivery, Customer claims related to logistics operations
- Identify opportunities to improve processes und operational efficiency
- Financial Coordination
- Review co-packing quotations und invoice compliance
- Support financial bookings throughout the end-to-end co-packing process
- Ensure accurate documentation und process compliance
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration oder a related field
- Around 3–5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain oder operations, ideally within FMCG, healthcare oder pharmaceuticals
- Experience working with third-party logistics providers (3PL) und warehouse operations
- Good knowledge of ERP systems und supply chain processes
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data und identify improvement opportunities
- Excellent organizational und planning skills with a structured way of working
- Strong communication und stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, hands-on mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
- Fluent German und English
- Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel
