Azure Architect - Security Architecture

For our client in Zurich , we are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Azure Architect – Security Architecture .

Your task:

• Develop roadmaps and define cloud strategies focusing on security, authentication, and resource management
• Assess and optimize vendor footprint, influencing decisions on long-term partnerships
• Provide expertise in security and authentication for Azure infrastructure, Azure DevOps, and Terraform
• Address security and authentication challenges for Azure services, including Key Vault, Virtual Machines, and others
• Reverse engineer Azure components to understand interdependencies in cases of incomplete or unclear documentation
• Define and implement best practices for security and authentication protocols
• Collaborate closely with Azure team and stakeholders to align solutions with business needs

Your profile:

• Strong expertise in security and authentication within Azure infrastructure , Azure DevOps , and Terraform (proficiency in at least two of these areas)
• In-depth understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms , particularly authentication processes
• Experience in reverse engineering Azure technical components to solve problems in environments with incomplete or ambiguous documentation
• Proficiency in securing and managing Azure Key Vault (Entra) , Virtual Machines , Azure Storage Accounts , API Gateway , API Management , Web Apps , Application Insights , Log Analytics , Logic Apps , and MS SQL
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on security and infrastructure
• Ability to work independently and guide teams in strategic and technical decisions
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
• Bsc. in Information Technology
