For our client, an internationally operating company in the aviation industry, we are looking for an experienced Data Governance & Data Management Specialist.Your Responsibilities:Data Issue ResolutionInvestigate and resolve data anomalies, inconsistencies, and quality issuesIdentify root causes and coordinate corrective actionsCollaborate with internal teams, data providers, and external partnersTrack data incidents through to resolutionData Management & GovernanceAnalyse business requirements and define required data assets and productsCreate and maintain interface documentation, data flows, and technical specificationsDefine data lineage and component dependenciesSupport data modelling and the onboarding of internal and external data sourcesMaintain metadata and data documentation throughout the data lifecycleData QualityDefine and monitor data quality KPIs, rules, and validation mechanismsEnsure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrityDevelop and improve data quality processesDefine data retention and archival conceptsEnsure compliance with GDPR and data governance policiesData Architecture & IntegrationSupport the evolution of the enterprise data architectureContribute to scalable data models, ingestion processes, and data flowsSupport secure and maintainable data integration patternsCollaborate with architects and engineering teams to improve data platform performance and reliabilitySupport the development and lifecycle management of Data ProductsYour Profile:Experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Data Stewardship, Data Engineering , or a similar roleExperience working with complex data landscapes and multiple source systemsStrong understanding of data modelling, data architecture, and data qualitySolid experience with SQL and relational databasesKnowledge of modern data platforms and cloud environments such as GCP, Azure, or AWSExperience with data interfaces, data flows, APIs, and data ingestionFamiliarity with data catalogues, metadata management, and data lineageUnderstanding of GDPR, data protection, retention, and archival requirementsExperience with Data Products and Data Mesh is a plusExperience with data catalogue solutions and enterprise data platforms is a plusExperience in aviation, operations, logistics, or transportation is a plusFluent in English #J-18808-Ljbffr
