I am looking for a passionate
General Manager
to take the helm of my clients alpine hotel and resort.
This is a role for someone who is switched on, commercially sharp, and genuinely enjoys being visible on the floor, supporting the team, and creating wow moments for guests.
If you have experience in ski resorts, a strong heart for Food & Beverage, and a natural talent for customer service, I would love to meet you.
Your Mission
Lead, inspire, and manage a large and diverse hotel team across Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Kitchen, Spa, and Maintenance.
Be a visible and approachable leader, supporting the team during busy periods and leading by example.
Drive a strong service culture where customer satisfaction, guest loyalty, and personal touches are at the heart of everything we do.
Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth workflows, high standards, and efficient collaboration between all departments.
Take ownership of the Food & Beverage concept, working closely with the culinary and service teams to create memorable dining and après-ski experiences.
Manage budgets, forecasts, and P&L performance while identifying opportunities to increase revenue and control costs.
Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue to maximise occupancy, ADR, and overall profitability throughout the winter and summer seasons.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards, and maintain a safe and positive working environment.
Recruit, develop, and retain top talent, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Act as the main point of contact for key guests, VIPs, and partners, ensuring a seamless and personalised experience.
What You Bring
Proven experience as a
General Manager , Hotel Manager, or Operations Manager, ideally within
ski resorts or alpine hospitality .
A genuine passion for
Food & Beverage , with strong commercial understanding and an eye for quality, trends, and guest expectations.
A hands-on leadership style: you are comfortable stepping in where needed and leading from the front.
Excellent customer service mindset with a natural ability to connect with guests and create memorable experiences.
Strong commercial awareness, with experience managing budgets, P&L, and performance metrics.
Experience leading and developing large, multi-departmental teams in a seasonal environment.
Fluent in
German and English ; additional languages are an advantage.
A switched-on, proactive, and solution-oriented approach, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
