Account Receivable Specialist

We\’re seeking an Account Receivable Specialist to join our client\’s AR team in Berlin. If you meet the following criteria, we want to hear from you:

• Minimum two years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivots and VLOOKUPs
• Experience with SAP is a plus
• Fluency in English is mandatory; German proficiency is advantageous
• Availability for full-time, on-site work in Berlin
• Possession of a valid visa (not a job seeker / student visa)
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

What you will do:

• Performing billing and collections for the company\’s Germany locations
• Assisting and supporting the finance team and other departments with member interfaces
• Reviewing invoices and payments on accounts, resolving discrepancies with good judgment
• Supporting members with various financial requests
• Monitoring DSO and improving collection and billing processes
• Participating in monthly book closing processes and revenue recognition
• Analyzing revenues, existing metrics, and KPIs

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics preferred
• Minimum six years of experience in accounts receivables or accounting, with at least two years in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in German and English
• Expertise in Excel and MS Office
• Experience with SAP B1 and Salesforce is advantageous
