Senior Backend Engineer (m/f/d)

The Tech team will allow you to work alongside a group of highly ambitious and knowledgeable Engineers, while being faced with complex problems.

Tech Stack : Java (Spring), Python, node.js, Typescript, NextJS, React, Postgres, Kinesis, Databricks, Terraform, AWS.

Tasks

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and own the full cycle software development of the product.
• Write clean code to develop functional applications.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Manage individual project priorities and deliverables whilst working in a team that enjoys knowledge-sharing sessions
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Gather and address technical and design requirements.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in technology.

Requirements

• You’re an excellent communicator both around technical and non-technical people.
• You have strong knowledge in one of the following modern programming languages: Java, if you are proficient in Python as well, even better!
• You have experience in working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or BigQuery.
• You can write clean, maintainable, and reusable code and make design decisions regarding the architecture of the services that you’ll be implementing.
• You are familiar with modern CI/CD and developer tooling such as Linters and testing frameworks.
• You know what it takes to run distributed systems and have some experience building microservices.
• You are proactive in suggesting alternative solutions and pushing your ideas.
