Then this could be the right opportunity for you! /ppCoris Innovation is committed to promoting professional equality, diversity and inclusion. /ppAll our opportunities are open to everyone, and we are committed to ensuring a recruitment process based solely on skills, experience and potential. /ph3Job Description /h3pWe are looking for an experienced Digital Payload Systems Engineer to join an international RD team based in Lausanne, Switzerland, working on the development of next-generation satellite communication systems. /ppThe position is particularly focused on the digital/back-end architecture of telecommunications payloads, from system definition and requirements downflow to integration, validation and in-orbit activities. /ph3Your responsibilities /h3pYou will contribute to the definition and development of advanced satellite communication payload architectures, with a particular focus on digital and regenerative payload technologies. /pulliDefine and develop digital telecommunications payload architectures /liliContribute to on-board processing (OBP), regenerative payload and digital processing architectures /liliTranslate mission and system needs into payload and subsystem requirements /liliDefine and manage interfaces between hardware, software and payload subsystems /liliPerform system-level trade-offs and contribute to SWaP-C analyses /liliWork closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and external partners/subcontractors /liliReview and challenge technical solutions proposed by equipment suppliers /liliSupport payload development throughout design, integration, verification and qualification /liliContribute to test definition, technical reviews and analysis of test results /liliSupport AIT/AIV, launch preparation and in-orbit commissioning activities /liliParticipate in major engineering and design reviews and provide technical documentation and presentations /li /ulh3Profile / Requirements /h3pYour background /ppWe are looking for an engineer with a strong background in satellite telecommunications and digital payload systems, ideally with 8+ years of relevant experience. /pulliSatellite telecommunications payload architecture /liliDigital / regenerative payloads /liliOn-board processing and digital signal processing /liliModem and communication processing architectures /liliDigital routing, switching and/or channelization /liliHW/SW payload architecture and interfaces /liliSatellite system engineering and requirements management /liliPayload equipment and subsystem development /liliIntegration, verification and space qualification /liliPayload testing and/or in-orbit commissioning /li /ulpExperience with RF communication chains, antennas, TTC, FPGA/SoC technologies, orbital tools or satellite operations would be considered an advantage, but deep RF expertise is not the primary focus of the position. /ppA Master's degree or PhD in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Space Systems or a related discipline is expected. /ph3The environment /h3pYou will join an international and multidisciplinary RD environment in Lausanne, working closely with specialists across hardware, software, digital communications and satellite systems. /ppThe role offers significant involvement in technical decisions and next-generation SatCom developments, from early architecture phases through validation and deployment. /ppSwiss or EU (27) Citizenship or valid Swiss working permit /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
