We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design and build AI and Gen AI solutions within our AI Lab.

In this role, you’ll combine deep technical expertise with strategic vision to build AI-powered solutions that will help transform our clients’ business models and enable their growth.

How you will create an impact

• Design and develop AI solutionsfor business-specific use cases.
• Develop RAG and/or fine-tune LLMs and data pipelines for internal and external data sources (e. g., pricing databases, market benchmarks, CRM exports).
• Optimize performance, latency, and cost of AI/Gen AI solutions.
• Evaluate, select, and integrate third-party libraries and open-source frameworks.
  Set up databases and LLM frameworks.
• Balance two modes of engineering excellence: pushing the boundaries of what's possible with innovative AI-driven automation through rapid Po Cs, and delivering the high-quality agentic solutions that our clients need
• Be a strong and reliable partner — own projects end-to-end with a high on-time delivery rate, from early prototype to production release
• Stay ahead of AI/Gen AI developments and assess new models/tools for adoption.
• Hit the ground running: within your first 30 days, deliver a working prototype of an agentic solution
• Work closely with AI Lab team and Simon-Kucher consultants to translate customer and business needs into well-designed AI solutions — agentic AI is core to what we build, and you'll be at the center of it
• Be an active contributor to our engineering culture: share relevant articles, research, or learnings with the team regularly and promote a mindset of continuous improvement and personal accountability

About you

• You have 4+ years in software engineering, with at least 2 years focused on AI and Gen AI.
• A standout university degree in a relevant field, with fluency in business English.
• Proven experience in designing and building applications using Gen AI models, including open-source and commercial LLMs (code and general-purpose).
• You have experience in deploying and integrating LLMs in business workflows
• Strong Python skills and experience with AI frameworks like Hugging Face Transformers, Lang Chain, and Lang Graph.
• Experience with vector databases, knowledge retrieval systems and Retrieval Augmented Generation.
• Experience with LLM high performance inference and models monitoring.
• Working experience with cloud platforms, e. g. Azure and AWS, and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with data privacy, model safety, and responsible AI practices.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
