CorpFin Search is mandated by a Private Equity backed group with the search of a Finance Director / Senior Finance Manager (m/f/d) for one of their subsidiaries.

Financial accounting and reporting

• Independent management of accounting and closing processes
• Direct reporting line to the group\’s CFO
• Preparation and quality assurance of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB
• Development and implementation of an internal control system to maintain data consistency and integrity within ERP and accounting systems
• Preparation of the Group Reporting Package in accordance with IFRS

Planning and controlling

• Development of a foundation for a multi-year and budget planning in line with the business strategy
• Groundwork and preparation of monthly reports on sales, contribution margin, overhead costs, and liquidity development
• Analysis of business and working capital developments, with strategic recommendations provided in close collaboration with group management
• Further development and refinement of controlling tools

Commercial Processes

• Proactive contribution to the improvement of the Order-to-Cash and Purchase-to-Pay processes, with a focus on efficiency and data quality

Additional responsibilities

• Professional management of the tax advisor
• Primary point of contact for auditors, insurance providers, and banks
• Management of projects in the financial sector

Professional skills

• Successfully completed degree in business studies with a focus on finance/accounting or an equivalent qualification
• At least six years of relevant professional experience in finance, accounting, and controlling – ideally in a leadership role and within the logistics or manufacturing sector
• Proficient in DATEV Unternehmen online and MS Office applications (especially Excel)
• Strong understanding of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and their data structures
• Solid knowledge of commercial and tax law
• Fluent in German and English
