CorpsAfrica is a non-governmental organization founded in 2011 by former Peace Corps Volunteer Liz Fanning. The organization recruits and trains young Africans to serve in rural communities, facilitating community-led development projects that improve the lives of local populations. Since its inception, CorpsAfrica has expanded its reach to 11 African countries, with over 1,700 Volunteers completing service and impacting nearly one million people.
