Purpose: Master data Expert will perform key tasks and domain expertise for different Master Data domains.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide Domain expertise for Master Data Areas.
2. Accountable for getting to meet the KPI’s and act as a point of escalation for business.
3. Refine and develop procedures as per guidelines from stakeholders or part of data migration projects.
4. Support and oversee Data cleanup activities as per agreed process, policies, and guidelines.
5. Participate and Lead Master data relevant Project initiatives or Process improvement.
6. Analyze and perform the data migration activities based on the suitable methods of migration.
7. Perform data migration activities such as data mapping, data cleansing, data conversion while ensuring the accuracy, consistency of the data and audit requirements.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve any issues.
9. Drive continuous improvement in monitoring and maintenance of Master data elements.

Skills & Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree required.
2. 8+ Years of experience in master data process preferably in Customer master.
3. 3+ Years of Experience in S4 HANA, SAP MDG.
4. Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and other data tools.
5. 3+ Years Experience with ETL tools like BODS or similar.

Competencies:

1. Hands-on experience on Data Management process including Mass data tools.
2. Strong hands-on experience in S4 HANA and MDG is a must-have.
3. Knowledge of key Cross workstream dependencies between different types of data is a must-have.
4. Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with thoroughness and attention to detail.
5. Must be able to work independently and take initiative to solve problems quickly.
6. Proven experience as a Data Migration Specialist or similar role.
