The Technology Manager will be responsible for a wide range of technical support needs and projects, which includes providing direct support to staff, applicants, and grantees, as well as vendor management and oversight of buildouts and implementations within our Salesforce-based grants management system.

We are seeking a highly organized, administrative level multi-faceted tech expert with extensive Salesforce experience.

The Technology Manager will support ten staff who work remotely and on site in two office locations (San Francisco, CA and Annapolis, MD).

  • A minimum of three years’ experience in the following areas is required:
  • As a Salesforce Admin
  • In an operations and technical support coordination role
  • Working within philanthropic or nonprofit organizations

Candidates must be based in the United States.

  • Equipment/Maintenance: Windows and Mac OS, i OS devices, Zoho Assist, Meraki, various additional OS/PC maintenance apps
  • Productivity: Microsoft 365, Box, Smart Sheet, Acrobat, Evernote, Survey Monkey, Zapier, Chrome, Parallels, Last Pass, Azure
  • Communications: Third party exchange hosting and Microsoft365, Barracuda email security, Zoom, Ring Central, Word Press, Tech Smith Capture, Grammarly
  • Human Resources: Bamboo HR, Breezy, Goal Span, Checkr

This position’s work is primarily conducted at a desk setting.

While the Foundation can provide accommodations such as standing desks, the majority of the time spent during working hours is stationary.

  • Continuous operation of a computer and other office technology
  • Frequent communication (during standard office hours) with grantees needing technical support; must be able to exchange friendly and accurate information in these situations
