What We Offer
In this position, you will plan, direct, and coordinate all manufacturing, distribution, and logistics activities in the Electrolysis and Reformer Unit (P2) in Brunsbüttel to produce and supply high-quality products at competitive costs, adhering strictly to safety and legal regulations. You will also manage the supply from two external suppliers.
Manufacturing includes HCl Electrolysis and CO production. Logistics covers loading and unloading facilities for Liquid HCl and chlorine, as well as coke handling. Distribution involves pipeline networks to supply internal and external customers in the Chemical Park with liquid HCl.
Expect an attractive starting salary between €131,600 and €164,500 gross per year, plus a variable component, depending on your qualifications and experience.
Main Responsibilities
- Manufacture and distribute products safely, cost-effectively, on time, and to specifications following SOPs.
- Ensure process and plant safety, employee health, quality, and emergency operations.
- Maintain regulatory compliance, including environmental aspects.
- Ensure the safe functioning of production facilities in cooperation with Asset & Reliability Management, Maintenance, and Process Technology.
- Organize and manage personnel, including target setting, feedback, staffing, training, and talent development.
- Manage cost centers and resources for safe and efficient operations.
- Plan and execute production and shutdowns in coordination with supply chain, logistics, customers, and suppliers.
- Identify and develop projects for cost savings, performance improvements, and growth; oversee commissioning and startup after mechanical completion.
- Participate as part of the site leadership team.
What You Offer
- University degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical-Process, or Chemical Engineering.
- Several years of experience in production, plant management, reliability, technology, or project management.
- Experience in international management or leading large global teams is beneficial.
- Strong organizational and management skills for large teams.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Fluent in English and German.
