What we offer
In this position, you will be part of the Specialty Films (SF) strategic business unit. We are a global team that develops specialty film solutions for a broad customer base with a focus on the automotive, medical, and security segments. As a leading partner for high-quality, customized technical specialty films, we support our customers with innovative, tailor-made solutions.
In addition to our wide range of benefits, you can expect an attractive starting salary of between €102,200 gross/year and €124,000 gross/year plus a variable component for a full-time position. The starting salary depends on your qualifications and professional experience.
Your main tasks:
- Initiate and lead application engineering projects with new or existing film products and/or new applications in close collaboration with the Commercial Operations organization.
- Coordination of technical activities in close coordination with R&D & Product Management according to product and segment strategies.
- Technical management of strategic market development areas. Project management for customer and market-related developments.
- Scouting and benchmarking of new technologies in the film development industry and protection of own developments through patents.
- Identification of future trends in the film market.
- Project management for strategic SF business units (must-win battles of the industries, improvement of value pricing by capturing market insights for global and regional segments).
- Senior Team Lead (m/f/d) of global cross-functional teams (matrix resource).
What you offer
- You completed a technical university degree, ideally in the field of plastics processing or a comparable degree.
- Your profile shows 5+ years of experience in the field of application technology or development, ideally in the field of films or plastics.
- We require a strategic and analytical mindset and the ability to translate complex customer requirements into technical solutions.
- You are characterized by a strong customer focus and social skills.
- Furthermore, you have very good communication skills and a friendly, open, balanced, and self-confident demeanor.
- We expect you to be willing to travel (inter)nationally with peak values of up to 30%.
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills round off your profile.
