Global business consulting company is looking to hire a dedicated PAYROLL LEAD to join their team in Berlin, Germany (Hybrid, full time).
How does the job look like
- Responsible for overseeing and directing payroll procedures, ensuring compliance with laws and tax obligations, supervising the payroll team, and maintaining accurate payroll records.
- Coordinate activities with other client departments to ensure successful testing and implementation of tax updates, year-end testing on multiple or single payroll ERP for all regions.
- Broad understanding and ability to research and interpret payroll laws.
- Ensures compliance with applicable payroll tax and labor law requirements.
Your profile
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in German payroll processing.
- Experience working with international (offshore) teams.
- Good experience in coordinating payroll inputs and validation.
- Experience in HRMS/ERP systems like SAP, SuccessFactors, Workday, etc., and in MS Office.
- Fluency in German and English.
