Accounting Team Lead

Global Leader in fund services, asset services and corporate governance is looking to hire ACCOUNT MANAGER for the ACCOUNTING Team based in Frankfurt (Hybrid).

This department is looking after key clients with regards to their investments structures in Germany. They consist of German small and mid-size holding companies investing into alternative assets (such as private equity and real estate assets) and outsource their administration including accounting services.

Your Role

• Leading a team of accountants
• Acting as a first point of contact for the client, third party service providers as well as in-house senior management
• Organizing, supervising and monitoring the general accounting and bookkeeping activities
• Organizing, supervising and monitoring the preparation of annual, quarterly or monthly management or investor reports for client companies, including balance sheets, P&L or other financial KPI reports
• Pro-actively supporting the directors of the German clients with regards to the accounting results
• Maintaining a network of internationally established clients
• Advising senior management on developments in the German market, in preparing offers and participating in pitches

About You

• 2 years\‘ plus experience in an accounting position, ideally with an international organization or corporate service provider
• Degree obtained in Germany in German accounting discipline
• Knowledge of preparation of financial statements based on German GAAP; Basic knowledge of German tax laws, IFRS or any other GAAP would be considered as an advantage
• Ideally you have some experience in leading, coaching, and mentoring team members
• You are a team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously
