Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional quality assurance, test analysis, test execution, and test documentation for business applications and IT procedures
- Design, build, and maintain automated test suites using Selenium and/or Selenide with Java
- Develop, maintain, and enhance test automation frameworks
- Plan, execute, and evaluate load and performance tests using OpenText Enterprise Performance Engineering (formerly LoadRunner Enterprise)
- Develop, maintain, and enhance scripts or programs using the C programming language in support of testing activities
- Conduct digital accessibility audits of business and web applications against WCAG and BITV standards
- Contribute testing expertise as part of a Shared Service Test Center or comparable central testing organization
- Support quality assurance activities for public-administration business applications, including e products where applicable
- Document findings and communicate results in German at a professional working level
Required Qualifications (Mandatory / Exclusion Criteria)
- Practical experience in functional quality assurance, test analysis, test documentation of business applications or IT procedures
- ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level certification (or an equivalent recognized certification)

Preferred Qualifications (Weighted Evaluation Criteria)
Beyond the mandatory requirements, candidates are evaluated and scored against the following criteria. Experience beyond each stated minimum is rated more favorably.
Functional Testing & QA Experience (B1)
At least 3 years of practical experience in functional testing and functional quality assurance; experience beyond 3 years is rated more favorably (up to 8+ years).
Shared Service Test Center Experience (B2)
At least 2 years as a member of a Shared Service Test Center or a comparable central testing organization; additional years are rated more favorably.
Public-Administration Application Experience (B3)
Experience in QA, test analysis, execution, or documentation for public-administration business applications (federal, state, or municipal), excluding e products; scored by number of applications worked on.
e Product Experience (B4)
Experience in QA, test analysis, execution, or documentation for e products of the cross-state e network; scored by number of e products worked on.
German Language Proficiency (B5)
Minimum C1 level (CEFR) or equivalent required; C2 level or native-speaker proficiency is rated more favorably.
Test Automation: Selenium/Selenide & Java (B6)
Practical experience automating tests with Selenium or Selenide and Java; scored by years of experience.
Test Automation Framework Development (B7)
Experience developing, maintaining, or enhancing test automation frameworks; scored by number of projects.
Load & Performance Testing Tooling (B8)
Experience conducting and evaluating load and performance tests using OpenText Enterprise Performance Engineering (formerly LoadRunner Enterprise); scored by years of experience.
C Programming Language (B9)
Experience developing, maintaining, or enhancing scripts or programs in C; scored by years of experience.
Digital Accessibility Testing (B10)
Experience conducting digital accessibility audits of business or web applications based on WCAG and BITV; scored by number of applications audited.
Language Requirements
German language proficiency at minimum level C1 (Common European Framework of Reference) or equivalent is required. Higher proficiency (C2 or native speaker) is viewed favorably.
Note: Exclusion criteria A1 (practical testing experience) and A2 (ISTQB Foundation Level or equivalent) must be met; failure to meet either results in disqualification from further evaluation. Weighted criteria total 103% / max. 1,030 weighted points per the source scoring matrix.
