Entertainment Manager German Speaking

Overview

The stage is yours! As part of the entertainment team, you will provide top-class entertainment and unforgettable moments of goosebumps:

• Implementation of high-class cultural events and coordination of the on-shore entertainment program pre-planned
• Management responsibility for the subordinate areas: sports, childcare, guest relations (plus international guest relations on EUROPA 2), print shop, sound & light, pianist and band
• Responsibility for the entire program design and organization of the daily on-board program in cooperation with all departments involved
• Representation of the organizer HLC towards guests and employees (host function and active hosting)
• Team coordination and monitoring of the responsible areas
• Independent creation of daily, concert and special programs

Qualifications

What you bring on board:

• Very good management qualities, preferably with management experience on cruise ships and/or in the field of entertainment and/or in professional theater operations
• Experience in dramaturgical programming
• Experience in the implementation and handling of events such as theater and live productions in the genres of classical music, entertainment and word art (rehearsal management, cloakroom facilities, artist support, etc.)
• Very good program design and coordination skills
• Excellent facilitation skills and presentation experience
• Very good knowledge of German and English (spoken and written)
• Very good PC skills, especially MS Office/ Internet
