For the opening sequence of our independent feature film IVAN, we're looking for someone from the Kloster Lehnin / Brandenburg area to support a small international crew.
The scene is a historical prologue: a 14-year-old boy waits alone at a rural bus stop as an old Ikarus bus arrives. It is a quiet, atmospheric sequence and the beginning of the film - simple in terms of production, with no stunts or complicated action.

The role is mainly practical production coordination: organising catering for around 10 people, local purchases and last-minute needs, helping with accommodation and crew logistics, and coordinating the timing and communication with the historical bus.
We are an international, English-speaking team, so good English is important. Film or international production experience is helpful, but more important is someone reliable, organised, independent and comfortable solving practical problems. A car would be very useful.
Idle Films is an independent film studio based in Hamburg, working across short, mid-length and feature films with an international network of collaborators.
The position is paid, fee by agreement.
