Snøhetta is seeking an architect to join its team in Innsbruck, Austria. For almost 40 years, Snøhetta has designed some of the world’s most notable public and cultural projects. Since our inception, the practice has maintained an original transdisciplinary approach, and integrates architecture, landscape architecture, interior design, art, and product design across our projects. We bring together a wide range of cultural and national backgrounds, with around 250 employees in studios in Oslo, New York, Innsbruck, Paris, Melbourne, Hong Kong and Shenzhen. While having an international approach, Snøhetta maintains a strong and unified culture, deeply rooted in the Nordic model, where equality, openness, generosity, and sustainability are translated into our projects. To strengthen our team in Innsbruck, Austria, we are looking for an architect (all genders) to join us as soon as possible. We seek a candidate with at least two years of professional experience for a challenging role with a diverse range of responsibilities. Your profile: professional degree in architecture at least two to three years’ of professional experience across all project phases strong conceptual thinking and design sensibility experience in the planning and delivery of complex office and commercial buildings in Germany is a plus knowledge of German building regulations, planning law, and approval procedures very good Archicad and Rhino skills excellent written and spoken German and English skills strong commitment to sustainable architecture strong quality awareness combined with excellent communication and organizational skills proactive, responsible, and motivated by complex design challenges interest in international collaboration within interdisciplinary teams What we offer We offer a varied and engaging role within a highly motivated, international, and close-knit team.
