The branch company of a large Japanese multinational trading company that deals with fasteners for manufacturing companies is looking for a Sales Operation Supervisor to join their team in Prague. This role will include fulfilling sales duties while overseeing a team of 3 Sales Representatives. Fluency in both English and Czech will be required for this role.
TYPE: Full time, permanent
SALARY: 50,000 CZK
LOCATION: Prague
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Overseeing, advising, and supervising 3 team members
- Handling purchase orders
- Controlling lead time
- Placing purchase orders to suppliers
- Representing the company for customer inquiries
- Reporting to the manager on issues beyond your authority
- Processing orders and forecast data, inputting into database
- Inputting supplier invoices into database, providing commodity codes to forwarders
- Preparing declarations for government if necessary
- Reviewing stock-in goods in database based on warehouse reports
- Arranging deliveries to customers
- Issuing sales invoices
- Chasing overdue invoices
- Maintaining and managing stock levels (deadstock)
- Supporting accounts during month-end closing
- Discussing issues with forwarders
- Preparing shipment volume reports for Japanese suppliers
- Preparing forecasts for Japanese suppliers
- Participating in stock takes and resolving discrepancies
- Preparing stock take reports
- Preparing environmental reports
- Preparing quotations for customers
- Downloading schedules from customer websites
- Registering quotations and data on customer websites
- Creating monthly profit and inventory reports
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Strong sales and management experience in a related field
- Strong communication skills
- Enthusiastic about customer care
- Fluent in English and Czech
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
