This role is built on a strong accounting and reporting foundation, complemented by FP&A and Finance transformation. You will help ensure reliable financial processes while actively shaping how our Finance function uses data, systems and technology. Your Role FP&A: Take an active role in budgeting, planning and forecasting, and prepare management reports that inform business decisions Accounting & Reporting: Oversee accounting and financial reporting according to HGB, RechKredV and RechZahlV in collaboration with our external bookkeepers and constantly aim to improve speed and quality of reporting Processes, projects and tech stack: Challenge and improve finance workflows through automation and technology, taking ownership of end-to-end projects from opportunity identification to implementation and adoption Audit & external partners: Act as a contact for auditors, tax advisors and internal stakeholders, from audit preparation to resolving technical accounting matters Regulatory compliance: Support Finance-related regulatory requirements across our regulated entities, help translate them into reliable processes and controls, and contribute to accurate and timely regulatory reporting Group structure: Support multiple entities across our group, including intercompany topics and entity-specific regulatory requirements What We’re Looking For A degree in finance, accounting, business administration or a comparable qualification Several years of experience in accounting, FP&A or Finance, ideally in a financial institution, high-growth company or multi-entity environment Strong knowledge of preparing annual financial statements under German GAAP (HGB) A genuine interest in FP&A, controlling and business performance – you want to understand the story behind the numbers Strong affinity for technology and AI in finance, with a drive to leverage data, tools, and systems to improve and shape processes rather than simply manage them Hands-on experience with DATEV; knowledge of other ERP or accounting systems and experience in migration projects is a plus Knowledge of the German accounting regulations for credit institutions and payment institutions (RechKredV and RechZahlV), or experience in a regulated environment is a plus A structured, independent and hands-on way of working Very good German and English skills What you Get Benefit from attractive compensation and benefits including Corporate Benefits, and your choice of either a Wellpass membership or a SpenditCard Enjoy 28 days of annual leave plus extra paid days off on December 24 and 31 Join our international team in our Munich office near Donnersbergerbrücke, with the option of a hybrid setup Grow through sophisticated training and development opportunities and enjoy regular events fostering team spirit Experience true ownership Ready to build something?
