Job Description

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Development and execution of functional tests in AIT satellite programs;
• Support in reviewing and creating test specifications;
• Support in defining, developing, and executing test procedures;
• Support electrical integration activities;
• Preparation and evaluation of test data, and assessment for the customer;
• Documentation of test results and writing of test reports;
• Support operation of the satellite/instrument;
• Assist in analyzing satellite configuration and documentation;
• Support error analysis (NCR investigation);
• Ability to work in a team and independently;
• May require shift work, assignments abroad, and work at various locations for short periods.

Qualifications & Skills

• Degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering;
• German at least at an advanced level, English at least proficient;
• Initial experience in functional satellite AIT required;
• IT knowledge of Unix/Linux systems required;
• Knowledge of ECSS standards is an advantage;
• Knowledge of TM/TC (PUS) for satellites/instruments is advantageous.
