Job Description

As part of our back-office project support working on European Ground Systems Common Core, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Bug fixing: Anomaly investigation and design of resolutions;
• Integration, validation and verification activities;
• Studies and prototyping of concepts;
• On-site support for critical operation phases;

Qualifications

Skills & Experience

You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science Engineer, or equivalent.
• At least 4 years in software development or maintenance in medium size projects.
• Excellent Java 4 years+ knowledge;
• Good understanding of OSGi specifications;
• Knowledge of the following technology stack:
  • Apache Karaf
  • Apache Zookeeper
  • Junit/Mockito
  • Apache Aries Blueprint
  • PaxExam
  • Maven
  • Good knowledge of the space packets and PUS standards ECSS and CCSDS
  • Git
  • Linux OS (Bash scripting)
• Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.

The following experience would be advantageous:

• Knowledge of Eclipse RCP framework
• Docker
