About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and client-focused Client Accountant to join our team in Germany. In this role, you will coordinate financial matters for international clients, acting as their main point of contact.
You will support the delivery of bookkeeping, reporting, financial statements, and audit coordination for a diverse client base, including companies, trusts, and real estate structures. You’ll work with experienced accountants in Germany and a support team in India & Cyprus, gaining exposure to international accounting and business practices in a fast-paced, global environment.
Some of the things you'll be doing
Collaborate closely with accountants to manage a portfolio of Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Assist with accounts payable/receivable and invoice management
Support with bookkeeping and preparation of financial reports, working papers, and annual financial statements, primarily in accordance with German GAAP (HGB)
Assist in the preparation and coordination of audits for SPVs and follow up on audit-related matters
Help with the preparation of VAT returns, corporate tax filings, and other regulatory submissions
Liaise with external stakeholders such as banks, auditors, and tax advisors, and ensure internal systems are updated with accurate client data\
Provide general administrative support to the team and assist senior colleagues with day-to-day operations and internal projects
What technical skills, qualifications, and experience do you need?
University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
At least two years of relevant professional experience in a Corporate Services Provider, bank, audit firm, or in the private equity / real estate sector.
Knowledge of German GAAP or other international accounting standards is an asset.
Confident in preparing financial analyses, reconciliations, and calculations.
Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage.
Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
Accurate, professional, and adaptable individual with strong interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude.
Salary range: €50,000 – €60,000 gross per year
The final salary will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, and role scope, in line with our objective and gender‑neutral compensation framework
