pHelp us grow and be more impactful! /ppbFacing the challenges of our time /b bOur dynamic and successful Business Unit dedicated to Micro Nano Systems, based in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, /b is looking for a business-savvy, visionary and communicative Business Unit Leader. /ph3Your Responsibilities /h3h3Strategic /h3ulliDefine and deploy the strategy of the Business Unit in alignment with the company's strategy /liliProactively participate to the Executive Committee /liliSteer the relationship with local stakeholders (Canton NE, EPFL, Industry associations) /liliDefine the research program and technology roadmap activities of the BU /liliDefine the business development strategy and programs /liliDrive the business acquisition and ensure a good relationship with all internal and external partners /liliSet the BU Communication and Marketing activities in collaboration with the central Business Development and MARCOM team /liliProactively support the internal collaboration with the other BU Leaders /li /ulh3Financial /h3ulliDefine, control and ensure the BU’s budget and financial reporting /liliManage and approve the project portfolio and all BU investments /liliDrive and supervise the Microfabrication operations and Cleanroom strategic investments in concert with local stakeholders /li /ulh3Quality management/ISO /h3ulliEnsure that the BU meets the company's Quality standards (ISO Standards 9001 and 14001) /liliSupervise and ensure the Project delivery and Microfabrication quality commitment to clients /liliSupervise external audits and evaluate external audit reports, in collaboration with the Quality Managers /li /ulh3Human Resources/Management /h3ulliLead a BU of over 80 experts and engineers /liliDirectly manage a team of 8 senior leaders (Deputy BU Leader, Group Leaders, Research, Business Development, Operations and Finance Managers) /liliDefine annual goals and ensure the development of all employees at BU level, in particular the development of young talents /liliMaintain a motivating and balanced high-tech working environment /liliIn collaboration with the VP Human Resources and HRBP, approve all hirings and promotions, and ensure the equity of salaries /li /ulh3Relationships /h3ulliResponsible for the political networking and contracts in the Canton of Neuchatel and other institutional stakeholders /li /ulh3Your Profile /h3h3Know-how /h3ulliAt least a Master’s degree in Engineering, PhD or MBA as an asset /liliInternational experience in high-tech industry is highly desirable /liliAt least 10 years experience in senior management position in high-tech industry - Semiconductors, Electronics components devices, Photonics, Micro Systems /liliHigh level overview and understanding of the global high-tech industry /liliBusiness acumen and understanding of industry macro trends /liliGood understanding of Micro Systems driven application domains as medical devices, electronic systems, instrumentation, energy, and emerging one as quantum, nano-tech, space-tech, Additive Manufacturing /liliStrong capabilities to drive financial aspects and work closely with CFO office /liliProven experience in managing and motivating teams of highly skilled technical experts /liliFluent in English and French /li /ulh3Interpersonal skills /h3ulliAn inspiring leader with excellent listening skills and the ability to build trust among customers, partners and collaborators /liliAbility to define a vision and to provide clear directions and priorities to execute on it /liliStrong analytical skills combined with structured and critical thinking /liliExcellent communication and negotiation skills with industry, academic and institutional stakeholder /liliProven networking skills, with a strong network in Switzerland, EU and worldwide /liliOpen-minded and creative thinking /liliAble to work under pressure /liliCustomer- and service-oriented mindset and solution-driven approach /li /ulh3CSEM mission and values /h3pWe believe in a future that is imagined, shared, and created TOGETHER. /ppAt CSEM, we don't just innovate, we envision technologies that shape tomorrow. /ppSince 1984, our purpose has remained constant: to harness science and technology for the benefit of society.
