You will independently lead complex sourcing initiatives, identify opportunities across a diverse supplier landscape and contribute regional perspectives to CSL's global category strategies. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liAct as a trusted Procurement business partner to Commercial leadership across DACH and EMEA, proactively identifying sourcing opportunities and translating business priorities into effective procurement strategies. /li liDevelop and execute regional category and sourcing strategies across Commercial and indirect spend, aligned with business priorities and global category roadmaps. /li liLead complex end-to-end sourcing initiatives, including RFPs, supplier evaluation and selection, commercial negotiations and contract execution. /li liAnalyze spend, market intelligence, supplier landscapes and business requirements to identify opportunities for cost optimization, value creation, innovation and demand management. /li liBuild and manage strategic supplier relationships, driving performance, continuous improvement and appropriate governance while proactively addressing supplier and commercial risks. /li liPartner closely with stakeholders across Commercial, Marketing, Medical, Market Access, Finance, Legal and other functions, providing procurement expertise and market insights to support strategic decision-making. /li liEnsure sourcing and supplier activities comply with relevant procurement policies, governance requirements, contractual obligations and applicable regulatory requirements. /li liContribute EMEA requirements and market insights to global category strategies and procurement initiatives, helping strengthen and continuously develop CSL's procurement capabilities across the organization. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Economics or a related discipline; an advanced degree or professional procurement qualification such as CIPS, ISM, CPSM or MCIPS is an advantage. /li liAt least 7 years of relevant experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing or Category Management, ideally within a multinational and matrixed organization. /li liStrong experience in indirect and/or Commercial procurement categories, such as Marketing Services, Market Research, Market Access, Data Analytics, Professional Services or comparable categories. /li liExperience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or life sciences industry is strongly preferred; candidates from other highly regulated industries with deep and directly relevant Commercial/indirect procurement expertise will also be considered. /li liDemonstrated success in leading complex sourcing initiatives and commercial negotiations, combined with the ability to independently manage sourcing projects and deliver measurable business value. /li liExcellent stakeholder management and business partnering skills, with the confidence to engage, influence and advise senior business leaders across different functions, countries and cultures. /li liStrong strategic and commercial mindset with the ability to analyze data and market insights, identify opportunities and translate them into pragmatic sourcing solutions. /li liAbility to operate independently and proactively in a complex international environment while collaborating effectively across Procurement and the wider business. /li liFluent English is required; German language skills are highly desirable. /li /ul h3About this position /h3 ul liAs EMEA Regional Procurement Lead, you will join our Enterprise Procurement Supplier Management organization and take on a highly visible role at the interface between Procurement and our Commercial business. /li liWhile your responsibilities span EMEA as a whole, the DACH region will be a particularly important focus.
