h3EIC Software Application Engineer – 7112 /h3pFor our client, an international company operating in a highly regulated industrial environment, we are looking for an experienced bEIC Software Application Engineer /b to support the development, integration, maintenance, and qualification of software applications used within manufacturing and automation environments. /ppThe successful candidate will work at the interface between bSoftware Engineering, Automation, Manufacturing, IT, and Quality /b, contributing to the reliability and continuous improvement of systems supporting production activities. /ppThis is a b100% site-based position in Visp /b offered initially for b12 months, with a possibility of extension /b. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliDevelop, configure, maintain, and enhance software applications supporting manufacturing and automation processes. /liliDesign, implement, and integrate solutions connected to bDCS, MES, historians, databases, and other manufacturing systems /b. /liliDevelop software and scripting solutions using technologies such as bC#, SQL, PowerShell, and VBA /b. /liliSupport interfaces and data exchange between bOT and IT systems /b. /liliPrepare software design specifications, functional specifications, technical documentation, and other engineering deliverables. /liliPerform software testing, commissioning, qualification, and deployment activities. /liliTroubleshoot software and system issues and participate in root cause investigations. /liliMaintain and improve existing applications to ensure reliability, performance, and usability. /liliCollaborate closely with bAutomation, Manufacturing, Validation, Quality, and IT /b teams throughout the project lifecycle. /liliSupport software lifecycle management, change management, and version control activities. /liliEnsure that solutions comply with applicable bGMP, data integrity, cybersecurity, and company requirements /b. /li /ulh3Required Skills Qualifications /h3ulliDegree in bAutomation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology /b, or a related technical discipline. /liliSolid IT background with practical knowledge of bsoftware development, databases, networking, and system integration /b. /liliProfessional experience with bautomation and/or manufacturing systems /b, such as DCS, MES, historians, or comparable platforms. /liliHands-on programming or scripting experience with several of the following: bC#, SQL, PowerShell, VBA /b. /liliExperience with software application lifecycle management and application support. /liliPrevious experience working in a bGMP-regulated environment /b. /liliGood understanding of software testing, troubleshooting, and system integration. /liliExperience creating technical and/or GxP-compliant documentation. /liliStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. /liliFluent in bEnglish and/or German /b. /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
