Occupational Health Nurse – Internal Medical Service - 7104
Our client, a global leader in the production and process support of active pharmaceutical ingredients, is looking for an Occupational Health Nurse to join its Internal Medical Service team.
This is an initial 12-month contract, with possibility of extension, based in Bern, Switzerland .
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinate medical services with internal and external healthcare providers
- Organize employee health examinations, pre-employment medicals, vaccinations, and occupational health screenings
- Act as the main contact for employees regarding medical matters
- Manage confidential medical records and ensure compliance with Swiss data protection requirements
- Coordinate first aid and workplace health training
- Support workplace health, prevention, and well-being programs
- Participate in health-related audits and processes
- Manage medical supplies in coordination with external providers
- Support communication around workplace health and safety
- Maintain accurate and legally compliant medical documentation
Qualifications and Experience:
- Completed training as a Registered Nurse or relevant Medical Assistant
- Swiss/EU citizenship or a valid Swiss work/residence permit
- German and English , spoken and written
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Independent, precise, flexible, and team-oriented approach
