CTC are specialised industry experts who can help companies source the best talent and provide reliable HR and consulting services, support varied candidates in finding promising career opportunities and offer the latest in skill development training programmes.Our client, a global market leader in the production and process support of active pharmaceutical ingredients, both in the chemical and biotechnology sectors, is looking for a German-speaking HVAC Project Engineer for a 12-month contract (with possibility for extension) based in Valais area, Switzerland.This is a full-time on-site role.Main Responsibilities:Support the definition and implementation of HVAC concepts and requirements for capital projectsCoordinate with process engineers, EI&C engineers, mechanical & piping, architects, engineering partners, EHS, fire protection specialists, project teamsLead the technical oversight of HVAC systemsManage contractors and vendors responsible for HVAC installationsEnsure project delivery with respect to cost, schedule, quality, and compliance requirementsParticipate in 3D design reviews and multidisciplinary coordination to resolve clashes and technical issuesOversee commissioning, functional testing, and acceptance activities for HVAC systemsParticipate in system tests together with engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholdersReview, collect, and hand over as-built documentation and ensure smooth transfer of systems to operations and end usersSupport additional engineering activities within the CAPEX team as requiredQualifications and Experience:Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering disciplineGerman: Business Fluent (required), English: Basic to intermediate proficiency preferred, French: Nice to haveExtensive experience working with HVAC systems and related regulations, standards, and guidelinesExperience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemical, or industrial manufacturing environmentsStrong understanding of GMP and cleanroom environments is advantageousApproximately 5-10 years of engineering, project execution, or operational experience within the pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, or related industriesTechnical expertise in HVAC systems and infrastructureKnowledge related codes, regulations, and industry standardsStrong contractor and stakeholder management capabilitiesExperience with commissioning and integrated testing activitiesStructured and detail-oriented working style.Ability to work independently in complex, multidisciplinary project environmentsStrong communication and collaboration skills, primarily in German and also in English #J-18808-Ljbffr
