Our client, an innovative and dynamic bio‑pharmaceutical company headquartered in Switzerland, covering multiple therapeutic areas, is looking for a Junior In Vitro ADME Scientist for a 6‑month contract (parental leave cover) based in Basel, Switzerland. This is an on‑site position. The In Vitro ADME group within the Pharmacokinetic Sciences (PKS) department provides the characterization of the absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion (ADME) properties using in vitro assays such as cellular permeability and metabolic stability, supporting discovery project teams in selecting the optimal compounds for clinical development. Responsibilities: Support in vitro ADME running cellular‑based assays, partially using lab‑automation systems. Qualifications & Experience
Swiss working/residency permit and/or Swiss/EU‑Citizenship required. Apprenticeship, BS or MS in biology, biochemistry, analytical chemistry or related disciplines. Proficiency in performing cellular‑based in vitro assays, including routine cell culture techniques such as cell seeding and cultivating cell lines. A good understanding of laboratory equipment (particularly LC/MS) and associated software. Experience with lab automation is desirable. Demonstration of strong experimental and problem‑solving skills, excellent collaboration and communication skills (both written and oral), eagerness to learn, and excellent time‑management skills are favored. The ability to work in a team‑based drug discovery/development environment is essential.
