pOur client, a global market leader in the production and process support of active pharmaceutical ingredients, both in the chemical and biotechnology sectors, is recruiting for a bEIC Maintenance Engineerfor a 12-month contract with extension. /b /p pThis is an onsite role based inb Visp, Switzerland /b. /p pThe EIC Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliable operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment. The role serves as the key interface between Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Automation teams to ensure equipment availability, process reliability, compliance, and operational excellence. /p h3Main Responsibilities: /h3 h3Maintenance Technical Support /h3 ul liMaintain and support electrical, instrumentation, automation, and process control systems across manufacturing and utility facilities. /li liAnalyze, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical, instrumentation, and automation-related issues to minimize downtime. /li liPlan, coordinate, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities. /li liSupport root cause investigations and implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). /li liEnsure all maintenance activities are executed in compliance with GMP, safety, and quality requirements. /li /ul h3Automation Control Systems /h3 ul liSupport and maintain DeltaV Distributed Control System (DCS) and related automation infrastructure. /li liParticipate in configuration reviews, troubleshooting, testing, and implementation of automation changes. /li liCollaborate with Automation Engineers and Process Engineers to optimize control strategies and plant performance. /li liSupport system upgrades, lifecycle management, and validation activities. /li /ul h3MES Digital Systems /h3 ul liProvide support for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), preferably Syncade. /li liAssist in troubleshooting production execution and batch record issues. /li liSupport integration activities between automation systems, MES, and business systems when required. /li /ul h3Planning Coordination /h3 ul liReceive, assess, and understand maintenance and technical requests from Operations. /li liPrioritize work orders based on plant impact, safety, quality, and production requirements. /li liCoordinate maintenance activities with production schedules to minimize operational disruption. /li liEnsure accurate documentation of maintenance activities in SAP. /li /ul h3Compliance GMP /h3 ul liOperate and make decisions in accordance with GMP regulations and internal quality standards. /li liSupport change controls, deviations, investigations, risk assessments, and qualification activities. /li liEnsure all documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready. /li liIdentify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, maintenance processes, and operational efficiency. /li liContribute to reliability engineering initiatives and asset management strategies. /li liParticipate in cross-functional improvement projects and commissioning activities. /li /ul h3Qualifications and Experience: /h3 ul libRelevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required /b /li liBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, Finance, /li liDegree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Process Control Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline (HF, BSc, or MSc). /li liSeveral years of experience in industrial maintenance, automation, or process manufacturing environments. /li liStrong knowledge of electrical engineering and industrial instrumentation. /li liPractical experience with DeltaV Process Control Systems (PLS/DCS). /li liBasic knowledge of instrumentation and electrical systems. /li liSAP maintenance module knowledge is advantageous. /li liExperience with MES systems, preferably Syncade, is advantageous. /li liKnowledge of troubleshooting methodologies and root cause analysis techniques. /li liFluent German language skills; English proficiency is an advantage. /li liGood understanding of GMP-regulated operations. /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
