An excellent opportunity to take ownership of a bstrategic automation category /b within a highly regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, working at the intersection of bprocurement, engineering, automation and major CAPEX projects /b. /ppThis is an hybrid role based in Visp, Switzerland, for an initial 12-month contract starting ideally the 15th November 2026 with extension possible. /ph3Main Responsibilities: /h3ulliOwn and develop the bAutomation Procurement category strategy /b /liliManage procurement of automation equipment, systems, software, services, spare parts and lifecycle support /liliDevelop sourcing strategies, preferred suppliers and framework agreements /liliLead complex bsupplier selection, negotiations and contracting /b /liliManage relationships with automation OEMs, system integrators and specialist suppliers /liliOptimize bTotal Cost of Ownership (TCO) /b and identify cost/value creation opportunities /liliSupport CAPEX and manufacturing projects from early design through procurement, commissioning and handover /liliPartner closely with bEngineering, Manufacturing, Automation, IT/OT, Quality, Validation and Project teams /b /liliManage supplier performance, commercial risks, obsolescence and lifecycle requirements /liliContribute to technology standardization, supplier consolidation and risk mitigation /li /ulh3Technical Environment /h3pYou should have a good understanding of industrial automation technologies, such as: /pulliMES and manufacturing interfaces /liliProcess control and instrumentation /liliIndustrial networks and communication systems /liliRobotics and automated material handling /liliAutomation software and licensing /liliData historians and production data systems /liliAutomation engineering, system integration and commissioning /liliLifecycle management, upgrades and obsolescence /li /ulh3Qualifications and Experience: /h3ullib10+ years of procurement experience /b, ideally in a technical or industrial environment /liliStrong experience in bCategory Management and strategic sourcing /b /liliProven expertise in supplier management and complex commercial negotiations /liliExperience working in bCAPEX / project-driven environments /b /liliTechnical background in bprocess, chemical, mechanical engineering or automation /b is strongly preferred /liliExperience in a bpharmaceutical / GMP environment /b is a strong advantage /liliStrong analytical, commercial and strategic mindset /liliExcellent stakeholder management skills in a multinational environment /liliExperience with bSAP and Ariba /b /liliEngineering, Procurement or Supply Chain degree / equivalent experience /lilibFluent English /b; German is an advantage /liliHigh level of ownership, proactivity and delivery focus /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
