SAP Application Engineer – 6273
Our client is a leading Medical Technology company in Switzerland. It is headquartered in Central Switzerland and has a global network of production sites, subsidiaries and sales partners. For our client’s Technology division in the Corporate IT department , we are looking for a technically experienced SAP Application Engineer for a permanent role to be based in the Central Switzerland area.
Main Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for central applications: Support the change management system Application Performance Monitoring (APM) and the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system 4PEP.
- Holistic approach to PLM and change management: Ensure and improve data consistency across all systems, with a focus on change management.
- Technical solution development: In cooperation with the specialist departments, analyze requirements, develop technical solutions and implement them.
- Scaling systems: Making systems and processes scalable and future-proof.
- Knowledge of the SAP environment: Contribute your own ideas and experience in SAP system landscape and identify optimizations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Several years of experience as an Application Engineer in the SAP environment and adept at working with PLM systems (ideally 4PEP) and change management tools.
- In-depth knowledge of customizing PLM and SAP systems and understand how to optimize processes in a data-driven manner.
- Strong understanding of holistic, scalable processes and work independently to improve data consistency.
- New technologies such as Fiori applications are exciting challenges for you and not an obstacle.
- Fluency in both English & German.
