on a
6 months contract (possible extension)
in
Visp, Valais area, Switzerland.

SAP Production Master Data Specialist

A detail-oriented and hands-on SAP Production Master Data Specialist to support the Supply Chain Visp organization in the day-to-day creation, maintenance, and accuracy of production master data. This role focuses on operational execution, ensuring data consistency, compliance, and availability across the master data lifecycle. The ideal candidate has strong SAP skills, a process-driven mindset, and the ability to work in a regulated, fast-paced environment

Main Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain SAP Material Master records and ensure accuracy across the full master data lifecycle
• Support the setup and updates of Production Master Data elements such as recipes, BOMs, and production versions
• Collaborate with the Master Data Architect and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment of master data with business and regulatory requirements
• Execute data quality checks and resolve inconsistencies in a timely manner
• Contribute to documentation management related to materials, including quality, supplier, and distribution records
• Support the implementation of data governance standards and compliance practices across master data processes

Qualifications and Experience:

• Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required
• Bachelor\’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
• Hands-on experience with SAP, preferably in Material Master creation and production-related data – recipes, BOMs, and production versions
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, reporting, data validation)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under tight timelines
• Experience in regulated environments such as pharma is a plus
• Communication and organizational skills
• Fluent in English; German is an advantage.
