Overview In this role, you lead end-to-end data management for assigned clinical trials in a Basel-area biotech environment. You ensure data quality, timeliness, and regulatory alignment, coordinating eCRF development, data review, and SDTM deliverables with cross-functional teams. You will manage internal and external partners, oversee data cleaning, testing, and database lock, and contribute to Data Management policies. This contract position offers impact through shaping trial data workflows and supporting successful development programs. You will work closely with Clinical Development to drive data integrity and timely trial insights. Verantwortungsbereiche Lead end-to-end Data Management activities for assigned trials Coordinate development of electronic Case Report Forms (eCRFs) Author trial-specific DM documentation including external data transfer specs and data cleaning plans Coordinate testing of eCRF screens and data tools in production Plan and drive data cleaning, data review, queries, and database lock with Clinical Development Generate trial metrics and participate in trial team and investigator meetings Manage DM activities delivered by outsourced or insourced partners Ensure annotated CRFs are created, validated, and delivered on time Forecast resource needs and provide direction to DM colleagues Contribute to DM policies, SOPs, and cross-functional process improvements Act as DM for studies without a dedicated DM Zentrale Anforderungen 3+ years in pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry in Clinical Research or Clinical Data Management Strong DM expertise with trial databases, data flow, data review, and eCRF design Experience coordinating or leading Data Managers and contributors Experience managing outsourced DM activities or external partners Knowledge of ICH GCP and international clinical research regulations Ability to manage multiple deliverables, timelines, and priorities Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management Advanced written and spoken English strong communication stakeholder management team leadership clinical data management eCRF design data cleaning tools
